A newly enshrined law in the state of Florida, titled “Parental Rights in Education,” forbids educators from teaching about sexual orientation or gender identity to students in kindergarten through third grade.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has engaged in a public war of words with Disney and the cultural left, which has dubbed the law as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, even though the word “gay” is not included in the legislation.
Andy Blalock, Republican candidate for Alabama’s open fifth congressional district seat, blasted Disney over its rhetoric, saying that the multinational entertainment conglomerate had appeased the “woke culture of the radical left.”
