Washington, D.C. – Log Cabin Republicans thank President Trump and Ambassador Richard Grenell for taking historic action today by pushing for the decriminalization of homosexuality around the world. The atrocious execution and prosecution of gay men and women simply because of who they are must stop.

“By taking this action the administration brings attention to a major human rights violation and positions the United States as the leader to end this injustice.” Executive Director Jerri Ann Henry stated, “We are proud to see this effort and look forward to working with the administration to bring about an end to the prosecution of the LGBTQ community. The United States must stand firm on human rights and lead our allies and adversaries to end discrimination and prosecution.”

If you would like to arrange an interview with Jerri Ann Henry, please contact Log Cabin Republicans Communications Director Breanne Kincaid at [email protected] or call (202) 420-7873.
