San Francisco, CA & Washington, D.C. — Log Cabin Republicans is proud to announce that Jason Clark, President of the San Francisco Chapter of Log Cabin Republicans, has been elected the Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party.
“I am honored to have been elected Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party,” Clark stated. “As Chairman, I look forward to engaging our voters during this exciting election year. My experiences with Log Cabin Republicans have taught me that equality walks hand-in-hand with individual liberty, and I will continue to advocate for both as Chairman. San Francisco is a one-party town, but to borrow a term from the tech industry, politics here are ripe for disruption. I look forward to changing the dialogue here in our great city!”
Clark is a native Californian. He has a degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. A practicing attorney, Jason ran for State Assembly in 2012, outperforming the registered Republican vote by 105%. In addition to his role as President of Log Cabin Republicans of San Francisco, Clark has served on the Boards of the San Francisco Young Republicans and as the Vice President of Log Cabin Republicans of California.
Log Cabin Republicans National President Gregory T. Angelo added:
Log Cabin Republicans continues to lead as a voice for common-sense conservatives across the country, often in places like San Francisco where others fear to tread — a tradition Mr. Clark continues in his newly minted role as Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party. On behalf of the Log Cabin Republicans National Board of Directors, we commend the members of the San Francisco GOP for their confidence in Mr. Clark’s leadership and look forward to the inevitable inroads he will make toward a stronger and more inclusive Republican Party.
