Washington, D.C. — Hot on the heels of the organization’s landmark Spirit of Lincoln Dinner which featured the attendance of Mary Cheney, Larry Kudlow, Congressman Paul Ryan, Senator Pat Toomey, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and a litany of conservative luminaries, Log Cabin Republicans has announced the launch of its Big Tent Tour.
“At a time when the GOP’s chattering class is merely talking about a more inclusive message, our Spirit of Lincoln Dinner in Washington, D.C. showcased what Big Tent politics really looks like,” Log Cabin Republicans Executive Director Gregory T. Angelo stated. “But our work didn’t end at the end of that stellar event — in fact, it just began. We’re taking this show on the road, bringing a message of common-sense conservatism across the country from D.C. to L.A. and everywhere in-between, culminating with a major event at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.”
The Log Cabin Republicans Big Tent Tour continues with events on the following dates and locations (more dates to be announced soon):
October 11, 2014 – Atlanta, Georgia
October 16, 2014 – New York, New York
November 1, 2014 – San Diego, California
