Washington Blade: Iowa Group Nixes Anti-Gay Pledge for Presidential Hopefuls

Washington Blade LogoWashington Blade reporter Chris Johnson reports on The Family Leader, an anti-LGBT group in Iowa, which has decided not to require Republican presidential candidates to sign a pledge expressing adamant opposition to marriage equality. Bob Vander Plaats, CEO of The Family Leader, reportedly saw the pledge as “more of a distraction” rather than a benefit.
