Atlanta News First (ANF), the CBS affiliate in Atlanta, covered the Log Cabin Republicans Trump UNITY Tour rally Saturday night.
ANF reporter Brittany Ford described the “room filled with members of Atlanta’s LGBTQ and beyond in support of former President Donald Trump,” and reported that the tour is designed to “shed light on what can be a hidden demographic within the political party.”
“We’re looking at not just gays,” Log Cabin Republicans President Charles Moran told Atlanta News First. “It’s disaffected Democrats, it’s independents, it’s youth voters, it’s people who the conservative movement has sometimes left out or have not spoken to.”
