First through an op-ed at Fox News and now with a letter to the U.S. Senate, the Log Cabin Republicans is strongly urging Senators from both parties to reject false accusations of “homophobia” charged by the Left and vote NO on Biden’s out-of-step FCC nominee Gigi Sohn.

“It has become increasingly clear that Ms. Sohn’s partisan comments, alarming views on censorship, and questionable ethical judgment are incompatible with the cardinal principles and responsibilities of the FCC,” LCR President Charles Moran wrote in the organization’s letter to the Senate, which can be read in full here.

“While we acknowledge the historic nature of Ms. Sohn’s nomination, we also recognize that simply being LGBT is not a qualification and to suggest otherwise would be an insult to the qualified and capable LGBT people in various industries across the country,” the letter continues. “Moreover, Sohn’s proponents do an incredible disservice to her and to the LGBT community when they accuse Senators, who are raising completely legitimate concerns about her record, of ‘homophobia’ and ‘bigotry.'”

The Log Cabin Republicans is the nation’s largest organization representing LGBT conservatives and their allies.
