Log Cabin Republicans President Charles Moran released the following statement:
“The Biden Administration is spending taxpayer dollars pushing ‘drag performances’ and ‘diversity and inclusion’ in Ecuador, a country that is ravaged by drug cartels, economic inequality, and illiteracy. Perhaps addressing any of those issues first might be a better use of U.S. aid dollars. This project does absolutely nothing to support U.S. foreign policy goals, as the State Department is supposed to do. It’s a pet project of radical woke ideologues in the State Department bureaucracy who remain completely unaccountable to anyone under this radical Administration. We’re thankful a spotlight is being exposed on this utter waste of our taxpayer dollars and hope that this aid money is redirected to a cause that truly needs it.”
